Job summary

Maximus is seeking an Appian Developer to design, develop, and deliver enterprise-grade applications. The role requires deep Appian expertise, strong SQL skills, and experience in Agile/SAFe environments. This is a remote position with a requirement to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.

The candidate should have 3+ years of Appian development (v17.x+), 5 years of professional experience, and a Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/Engineering or equivalent. U.S.

Responsibilities

• Develop and configure complex enterprise applications using Appian components (SAIL, Process Models, Records, Reports, Web APIs).
• Design and implement secure integrations using RESTful APIs and authentication patterns.
• Perform SQL data modeling and database design.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize Appian applications for performance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• AI & Automation: Familiarity with AI technologies and Appian AI capabilities.

Job-Specific Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Proactive approach to learning and obtaining higher-level Appian certifications.
