Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field
- 5+ years of business analysis experience
- Experience documenting requirements with use cases and user stories
- Ability to work remotely, aligned with East Coast hours
- Must be able to obtain federal clearance if needed (US citizenship)
Responsibilities
- Partner with Appian product teams and customers to gather Appian requirements
- Define MVP and release plans with Product Dev Managers
- Document requirements through discovery workshops and models
- Create and refine user stories with detailed acceptance criteria
- Collaborate with architects to define new or enhanced product functionality
- Support prioritization of features in the product roadmap
- Prepare estimates for backlog items and manage risks
- Conduct formal review and acceptance of implemented stories
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and data modeling
- Use TFS, Jira, and Github for project management
