United States Digital Space LLC is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a remote-first API development team based in Europe. You will drive REST and GraphQL APIs that enable customers to manage and deliver content at scale, while focusing on observability, automation, and AI-driven capabilities.

You will partner with cross-functional teams to align technical goals with business objectives and ensure scalable, high-performance APIs powering our sites and experiences.

Qualifications

• 5+ years leading software teams in web/API environments.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript and React/Node.js.
• Experience with GraphQL and REST APIs.
• Proven ability to mentor and grow engineers across distributed teams.
• Strong collaboration with Product, Design, Security, and Infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a globally distributed API development team.
• Define the team roadmap and ensure delivery of reliable, developer-friendly APIs.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, Research, Infrastructure, and Security to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Oversee architecture, performance, security, and scalability of delivery APIs.
• Hire and mentor engineers, promoting technical excellence and growth.
