Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead our Developer Experience team focused on APIs, webhooks, and external integrations. You will guide the technical and strategic vision for data flows and developer experiences at scale, partnering with product, design, and partnerships to deliver high-impact work.

You will recruit and mentor engineers, own the roadmap for developer-facing infrastructure, and ensure reliability, scalability, and excellent developer

Qualifications

• Experience leading developer-facing products, APIs, or platform infrastructure.
• Strong background in developer experience and API platforms.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, able to translate technical concepts.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and mentor a team of engineers with regular 1:1s and career conversations.
• Own roadmap and delivery for developer-facing infrastructure and APIs.
• Collaborate with product, design, partnerships, and customer-facing teams to define what gets built.
• Drive technical strategy for API design, event delivery, and integration patterns used by external developers.
• Track engineering health using metrics and establish release/monitoring standards.
• Recruit, hire, and onboard engineers; manage onboarding ramp for new hires.
• Communicate risks and blockers clearly to stakeholders and keep progress aligned.
