Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking an experienced API engineer to design, build, and maintain APIs using .NET for enterprise applications. This remote role requires owning API delivery within sprints and collaborating with front-end and cross-functional teams to deliver complete features.

You will integrate APIs with SAP/OData, Azure services, SQL/NoSQL stores, and identity platforms, while applying AI tooling to boost productivity and quality.

Qualifications

• Mid-level experience with .NET and API development in production.
• Backend/API implementation focus.
• Hands-on integration with enterprise systems and cloud services (SAP/OData, Azure, identity platforms, SQL/NoSQL).
• Ability to work independently and own sprint commitments.
• Strong written and verbal English.
• Clear communicator across distributed teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain APIs using .NET for enterprise apps.
• Own API delivery within sprints as the primary API engineer.
• Integrate APIs with SAP (OData), Azure, SQL/NoSQL, Entra ID, AD, Cosmos DB.
• Use AI tools to improve productivity, quality, and delivery speed.
• Collaborate with front-end and cross-functional teammates to deliver features.
• Contribute to backlog refinement, technical planning, and sprint execution from an API perspective.
• Ensure API quality, observability, and maintainability across projects.
