United States Digital Space LLC is hiring a backend software engineer to lead the design and implementation of our products. You will build secure, robust, and scalable services for speech processing, orchestration, and scheduling while delivering highly reusable code and strong user experiences.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in an industry role.
• Experience in Rust (or C, C++), with Python.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Strong knowledge of version control, preferably Git.
• Comprehensive experience with UNIX-style systems.

Responsibilities

• Improve core inference services including networking, speech processing, and latency optimization.
• Develop processes to measure, build, and optimize services for performance.
• Debug complex system issues involving networking, scheduling, and HPC interactions.
• Rapidly customize backend services to support customer needs.
• Partner with Product to design and implement new services end to end.
