Syms Strategic Group, LLC is seeking an experienced Angular/NodeJS Developer for a remote, full-time role. The position requires 8+ years in software development with a focus on Java/NodeJS back- end and RESTful API design in healthcare or enterprise environments.

You will work with Angular frontend and back-end services, collaborate with C#/Net and AWS engineers, and contribute to a high-paced DevOps environment while ensuring HIPAA-compliant data handling. U.S.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience with a strong back-end focus (Java and/or NodeJS)
• 8+ years of experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs in healthcare or enterprise environments
• Hands-on Angular experience building/maintaining front-end components
• Proficiency with Git/GitHub and collaborative workflows
• Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms and API integration
• Familiarity with healthcare data formats (EDI/XML/JSON) and HIPAA considerations
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance (Public Trust)
• Experience with unit/integration testing (JUnit/Jest)
• Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and JIRA

Responsibilities

• Build and migrate a cloud-based Web Dashboard processing healthcare EDI transactions
• Design and maintain RESTful APIs in Java and/or NodeJS
• Integrate with internal platform APIs and data services to deliver live data
• Support Angular-based dashboard front-end and API consumption
• Collaborate with C#/.Net and AWS data engineers to define API contracts
• Write clean, testable code and participate in code reviews
• Perform unit and integration testing across back-end and API layers
• Support deployment, monitoring, and performance of services on AWS
• Apply best software engineering practices within an Agile framework
• Use Git and GitHub for version control and collaboration
