Job summary

Syms Strategic Group, LLC seeks an experienced Angular/NodeJS Developer to build and enhance a cloud-based Web Dashboard for healthcare EDI processing. The role focuses on backend Java/NodeJS services, RESTful APIs, and Angular front-end integration, with strong emphasis on data accuracy and reliability.

The position is fully remote within the United States and requires U.S. citizenship with Public Trust clearance.

Qualifications

Experience designing and integrating back-end services (Java and/or NodeJS) with front-end Angular UI.
Experience building RESTful APIs that transform structured healthcare data (EDI/HL7).
Cloud deployment experience (AWS) and API gateway/lambda usage.
Proficient with Git/GitHub workflows and CI/CD practices.

Responsibilities

Build, support, and migrate a cloud-based Web Dashboard handling healthcare EDI transactions.
Design and maintain RESTful APIs in Java and/or NodeJS.
Integrate with internal APIs and data services for live historical EDI data.
Support Angular-based dashboard front-end and API integration.
Collaborate with C#/.Net and AWS data engineers to define API contracts.
Write clean, tested, well-documented code and participate in code reviews.
Perform unit and integration testing of backend services and API layers.
Support deployment and monitoring of backend services on AWS.
Promote Agile software engineering practices and use Git for version control.
