Syms Strategic Group, LLC is seeking an experienced Angular/NodeJS Developer for a fully remote, US-based role. You will design back-end services in Java/NodeJS, build RESTful APIs, and collaborate with C#/.Net and AWS engineers to deliver a reliable EDI data platform.

The role requires 8+ years in software development with a strong back-end focus, hands-on Angular experience, and cloud/container expertise. U.S. citizenship is required for this opportunity.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience with a strong back-end focus (Java and/or NodeJS).
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs in healthcare or enterprise environments.
• Hands-on Angular experience and API integration.
• Proficiency with Git/GitHub, including branching and PRs.
• Experience with AWS cloud services and containerization (Docker).
• Ability to work in a distributed US-based team and in Agile processes (Scrum/Kanban).

Responsibilities

• Build and migrate a cloud-based web dashboard processing healthcare EDI transactions.
• Design and maintain RESTful APIs in Java and/or NodeJS for EDI data.
• Integrate with internal APIs, EDI pipelines, and data services for live data delivery.
• Support Angular-based frontend and ensure accurate data presentation to users.
• Collaborate with C#/.Net and AWS engineers to define API contracts.
• Write clean, tested code and participate in code reviews and testing.
