Job summary

Syms Strategic Group, LLC is seeking an Angular/NodeJS Developer to build and migrate a cloud-based Web Dashboard processing healthcare EDI transactions. This 100% remote U.S.-based role demands strong back-end in Java/NodeJS and front-end in Angular, with AWS experience and strict data fidelity.

You will design RESTful APIs, integrate with internal pipelines, and collaborate with C#/.Net and data engineers. A Bachelor's degree and 8+ years in software development are expected; U.S.

Qualifications

• Experience with Java and/or NodeJS back-end integration work and Angular front-end UI.
• Proven experience building RESTful APIs for structured data (XML/JSON).
• Hands-on Angular experience with API integration and component development.
• Strong back-end development in Java and JavaScript/TypeScript/NodeJS for API design and data transformation.
• Experience with AWS and Git/GitHub in a collaborative, Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Build, support, and migrate a cloud-based Web Dashboard processing healthcare EDI transactions.
• Design, build, and maintain RESTful APIs in Java and/or NodeJS to transform and serve EDI data.
• Integrate with internal APIs, EDI pipelines, and data services for reliable data delivery.
• Support Angular-based dashboard front-end, consuming APIs and building components.
• Collaborate with back-end C#/.Net and AWS data engineers to define API contracts.
• Write clean, testable code and participate in code reviews; perform unit/integration tests.
• Support deployment, monitoring, and performance of back-end services in production on AWS.
• Apply Agile practices; use Git and GitHub for version control and collaboration.
