LifeStance Health is seeking an Ancillary Services Coordinator for a remote position across the United States. You will verify insurance benefits, assess benefit compatibility with procedures, obtain pre-certifications, and support billing with providers and the office team.

The role requires a high school diploma and 2+ years of medical billing experience. You will maintain documentation in the patient chart, communicate benefits to patients, and participate in reporting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient medical insurance benefits via phone and online access to obtain benefit information.
• Determine insurance benefit compatibility with LifeStance procedures/visits.
• Obtain pre-certification or authorization for procedures and enter into billing system.
• Work closely with providers and operations team to provide the patient with benefit information to facilitate testing or other special services.
• Keep accurate documentation of the verification process in the patient chart and reporting resources.
