Job summary

Salesforce is seeking an Analytics Specialist Solution Engineer (Tableau) to join our Solution Engineering team. You will partner with customers, the Sales team, the Product team, and Professional Services to demonstrate analytics-driven solutions that deliver business value across CBS accounts.

The ideal candidate has hands-on Tableau experience, CRM Analytics or Tableau Next, and the ability to translate data into compelling demos while traveling for customer engagements as needed.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS, Data Science, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Hands-on experience with Tableau, CRM Analytics, or Tableau Next.
• Knowledge of related applications, relational databases, and web technology.
• Solid oral, written, presentation, collaboration, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team to solve technical problems in varied environments.
• Strategic problem solver comfortable engaging technical, business, and executive audiences.
• Willingness and ability to travel occasionally for customer engagements and team events.

Responsibilities

• Align innovative solutions to client technology challenges within CBS accounts.
• Handle business development, operations strategy, and product demonstrations as a trusted advisor.
• Define ambiguous business problems and drive innovative next steps.
• Evaluate solutions and build decision frameworks delivering ongoing value.
• Demonstrate connected, data-driven experiences through demos and rapid prototyping.
• Build customized solutions for multiple personas and showcase platform value.
• Advise on customer data and analytics architecture related to Salesforce and Tableau.
• Participate in product, sales, and training to maintain knowledge.
