Job summary

The Analytics and Projects Team Supervisor at the Washington State Health Care Authority leads projects across the Apple Health Services and Operations division, analyzes legislation, drives continuous improvement, and guides management analysts to support program goals. This full-time remote role may require occasional in-person meetings; all WA residents are required on day one.

Qualifications

• At least one year of supervisory experience.
• Demonstrated ability to lead evaluations of programs, org structures, processes, or service-delivery models.
• Ability to establish or lead analytical and performance-management approaches.
• Experience leading complex cross-functional projects with significant stakeholder interests.
• Ability to perform highly complex, strategic analyses for executive leadership.
• Experience evaluating laws, rules, policies, standards, and strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the project manager on division-wide projects.
• Facilitate large stakeholder workgroups to improve processes and user experience.
• Coordinate statewide projects to operationalize policy changes and improve Medicaid access and eligibility.
• Lead process improvement initiatives across the division.
• Act as legislative coordinator for division bill analysis coordination and tracking.
• Identify impacts and risks of proposed legislation on division activities.
• Provide expert consultation to senior management on resources and priorities.
