Job summary

The Original Bitcoin Exchange is seeking an AML Investigations professional to conduct and adjudicate referrals of unusual activity, aiming for timely SAR submissions within regulatory timelines. You will join the AML Investigations Team, collaborating with Compliance and Customer Support, while continually developing skills in blockchain analytics and sanctions risk management.

Qualifications

• Experience in an investigative function.
• Experience using blockchain analytics tools such as Chainalysis, TRM and Elliptic.
• AML/CDD/EDD, AML/CTF/Sanctions Investigations, SAR/STR reporting experience.
• Basic knowledge of blockchain technology.
• CAMS/CBP designation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct investigations assigned by Head of Investigation Team to determine risk exposure and mitigate risks by SAR filing, recommendations for account closure, or freezing of funds as applicable.
• Support to Customer Help Desk / Legal Team requests for investigative assistance.
• Communicate with customers, agents, and internal attorneys as applicable.
