Bitfinex is seeking an AML Investigator to conduct and adjudicate referrals of unusual activity for timely SAR submissions or closure, reporting to the Head of Investigation Team and collaborating with Compliance and Customer Support teams.

You will develop blockchain knowledge, stay ahead of industry practices, and help mitigate money laundering and sanctions risks for Bitfinex on a global scale.

Formación

• University education is preferred.
• Experience in an investigative function.
• Experience using blockchain analytics tools such as Chainalysis, TRM, Elliptic.
• AML/CTF/Sanctions Investigations and SAR/STR reporting experience.

Responsabilidades

• Investigate referrals of unusual activity and determine risk exposure for SAR filings or closing referrals as not suspicious.
• Provide investigative support to Customer Help Desk / Legal teams.
• Communicate with customers, agents and internal attorneys as applicable.
