Zusammenfassung

Bitfinex is seeking an AML Investigator to join our investigations team. You will adjudicate referrals of unusual activity for SAR submissions within regulatory timelines, or close referrals with clear, reasoned arguments.

You will collaborate with Compliance, Legal, and Customer Support, build industry relationships, and continuously develop your knowledge of blockchain tech, sanctions, and AML best practices to protect Bitfinex and our users.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in an investigative function.
• AML/CDD/EDD and SAR/STR reporting experience.
• Experience using blockchain analytics tools (Chainalysis, TRM, Elliptic).
• Knowledge of blockchain technology.
• CAMS/CBP designation preferred.

Aufgaben

• Investigate referrals assigned by Head of Investigation Team to determine risk exposure and mitigation actions (SAR filing, account closures, fund freezes).
• Support Customer Help Desk / Legal Team requests for investigative assistance.
• Communicate with customers, agents, and internal attorneys as applicable.
