Job summary

Ferguson is seeking an AMI / AMR Project Manager to lead municipal water meter projects, oversee subcontractors, and coordinate with stakeholders. This remote role serves the Southwest market with up to 50% travel to client sites.

The ideal candidate will reside in Southern California, Arizona, Nevada, Colorado, New Mexico, Texas or Utah, and bring 5+ years in project management, strong communication, and PMP or MBA/engineering credentials.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in project management
• Strong communication, written and verbal
• Ability to lead and empower teams
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Access) and advanced Excel

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of a project from start to finish within time and budget
• Recommend products and services that fit client needs
• Lead project execution per PM methodology and plan
• Establish and maintain relationships with major accounts/customers
• Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery and quality
• Monitor progress and resolve operational issues to minimize delays
• Work with partners to determine scope, requirements and calculations
• Conduct meetings and prepare regular status / KPI reports
• Allocate resources and assign tasks to meet targets
• Provide high-level support to program/project managers to ensure plan adherence
