Job summary

Ferguson is seeking an AMI/AMR Project Manager to lead Municipality water meter projects. You will oversee subcontractors, monitor budgets and schedules, and report KPIs. The role involves on-site client visits as needed and up to 50% travel within the Southwest market.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in project management, strong communication, and PMP or MBA/Engineering credentials. This position is remote with opportunities to visit client sites, supporting multiple states in the Southwest

Qualifications

5+ years’ experience in project management is preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office suite; advanced Excel preferred.
PMP certification and MBA/Engineering degree are preferred.

Responsibilities

Manage all aspects of Water Meter project from initiation to closure within scope and budget.
Lead project execution following the organization’s PM methodology and plan.
Establish and maintain relationships with major accounts/customers.
Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery and quality.
Supervise progress, conduct meetings, and provide regular status reports and KPIs.
Support project managers to ensure projects stay on plan.
