Qualifications

• RHIT, RHIA, CCS, CCA, CPC, CPC-H, CASCC or CIRCC credential required.
• Two years of multi-specialty surgical coding experience.
• CPT/ICD-CM/HCPCS/modifier coding for physician professional charges; acute care facility experience required.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for accurate assignment of ICD and CPT coding for outpatient records in Ambulatory Surgery.
• Performs complex surgical coding in support of specialty or multi-specialty physician practices and OPPS/CAH hospitals.
