Job summary

TogetherWork is seeking a Content Writer to craft alumni communications remotely for US-based clients. You’ll guide content from interview prep to delivery, collaborating with Consultants, Editors, and Designers to ensure high-quality output that matches each client’s voice and goals.

You will draft questions, conduct interviews, and produce engaging features. You’ll adapt writing to varying style guides, manage deadlines, and leverage AI tools to boost efficiency while upholding standards.

Qualifications

• Strong writing, editing, interviewing, and storytelling skills.
• Experience in professional writing, journalism, communications, marketing, or content production.
• Exceptional organization and project-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to adapt writing to varying client voices, style guides, and specifications.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills and confidence conducting interviews via phone, video, and email.
• Ability to effectively utilize AI tools to improve efficiency, support content development, and streamline workflows while maintaining accuracy, quality, and client-specific standards.
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Create and produce high-quality alumni communications based on each client's style guide, preferences, and goals.
• Draft interview questions, conduct interviews, and write engaging feature articles highlighting alumni from a variety of backgrounds and experiences.
• Utilize client-specific goals and messaging to establish each publication's content.
• Maintain open lines of communication with account managers and editing staff to ensure project strategy, goals, and messaging meet the client's needs.
• Manage daily priorities and multiple concurrent assignments to consistently meet established deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Leverage approved AI tools to support research, interview preparation, content development, and workflow efficiency while ensuring final content meets editorial and client standards.
