Job summary

TogetherWork is seeking a Content Writer to craft alumni communications for various clients, aligning with each voice, goals, and style guide. You will manage content from interviews to delivery, collaborating with Alumni Communication Consultants, Editors, and Designers.

You will conduct interviews, develop feature pieces, research using AI tools, and coordinate with account managers to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Strong writing, editing, interviewing, and storytelling skills.
• Experience in professional writing, journalism, communications, marketing, or content production.
• Exceptional organization and project-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to adapt writing to varying client voices, style guides, and specifications.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills and confidence conducting interviews via phone, video, and email.
• Ability and willingness to effectively utilize AI tools to improve efficiency, support content development, and streamline workflows while maintaining accuracy, quality, and client-specific standards.
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Create and produce high-quality alumni communications based on each client's style guide, preferences, and goals.
• Draft interview questions, conduct interviews, and write engaging feature articles highlighting alumni from a variety of backgrounds and experiences.
• Utilize client-specific goals and messaging to establish each publication's content.
• Maintain open lines of communication with account managers and editing staff to ensure project strategy, goals, and messaging meet the client's needs.
• Manage daily priorities and multiple concurrent assignments to consistently meet established deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Leverage approved AI tools to support research, interview preparation, content development, and workflow efficiency while ensuring final content meets editorial and client standards.
