Job summary

Novartis is seeking an Access & Reimbursement Manager to support accounts across a US territory. This field-based and remote role requires building relationships with providers, payers, and health-system stakeholders to improve patient access to therapies.

You will educate on reimbursement, coding, and patient support programs, while navigating prior authorizations and claims. You must reside within the territory or within commuting distance, be prepared to travel 60–80% across the geography,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3+ years in reimbursement, market access, managed care, or related healthcare environment.
• Experience with specialty pharmacy products and access channels.
• Knowledge of coding, billing, claims, and reimbursement processes.
• Experience with buy-and-bill pathways and provider-administered therapies.

Responsibilities

• Partner with providers and billing teams to support patient access.
• Educate on access, reimbursement, coverage, and patient support programs.
• Serve as a resource for product acquisition, ordering, payment, inventory, returns.
• Navigate payer policies, denials, prior authorizations, and coverage challenges.
• Monitor changes in payer policies and reimbursement trends.
• Support patient assistance and co-pay programs.
