Job summary

Denali Universal Services (DUS) is seeking a dependable Breakfast Cook to join our remote camp kitchen on Alaska's North Slope. You will prepare and serve high-quality breakfast items, follow HACCP standards, and support inventory and food cost controls.

The role may supervise kitchen staff, assist with ordering and rotation of stock, and ensure a safe, efficient operation during long 12-hour shifts. Rotations are 3 weeks on/3 off or 2/2, with housing and meals provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Two years of experience in high-volume food production.
• ServSafe certification.
• Able to read, write, speak English proficiently.
• Smartphone with scheduling/timekeeping apps.
• Pass pre-employment drug test, background check, and fitness for duty.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve all breakfast meals using standardized ingredients.
• Maintain proper food temperatures and HACCP compliance.
• Monitor waste and control food costs.
• Clean and sanitize kitchens, rotate stock, and assist with inventory.
• Support training and supervision of kitchen staff.
