Job summary

Cytiva is seeking a remote Support Scientist I to provide pre- and post-sale technical assistance for chromatography products. The role reports to the Senior Manager, Scientific Support and is based in Marlborough, MA with remote work flexibility.

You will stay current on product literature, training, and regulatory processes while helping customers solve complex technical issues and identifying sales opportunities.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree or equivalent work experience in life sciences or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of laboratory experience with Cytiva/GE Life Sciences chromatography equipment.
• Experience with AKTA, Unicorn software, and chromatography resins.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and product recommendations to customers via phone, webchat, and email.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Cytiva products and training materials.
• Document customer inquiries, classify as needed, and handle regulatory-compliant processes.
• Deliver remote or on-site trainings and participate in product literature review and field activities.
• Identify opportunities to convert inquiries into potential sales leads.
