Job summary

Cytiva is seeking a Support Scientist I to deliver expert scientific support for chromatography products to customers. The role is remote with travel to Marlborough, MA (~5%). You will train customers, troubleshoot, and suggest product improvements while keeping thorough records.

Applicants should have an advanced life sciences degree and at least 3 years of lab experience with AKTA systems, Unicorn software, and chromatography resins, enabling effective field and customer interactions.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Life Sciences or related field (Masters/PhD preferred).
• Minimum 3 years laboratory experience with Cytiva Life Sciences chromatography equipment (AKTA).
• Experience with AKTA, Unicorn software, chromatography resins, and purification methods.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre- and post-sale technical assistance to customers via phone, webchat, and email.
• Share product training and build knowledge of Cytiva products.
• Maintain up-to-date information on customer inquiries and internal documentation.
