Job summary

SaidGig is seeking a writer and editor to apply expertise in evaluating text for AI training and evaluation. This remote contract role focuses on assessing content, identifying low-quality or artificial language, and providing detailed editorial feedback to improve AI learning.

You will work independently, with availability across Australia or New Zealand time zones preferred, and you will deliver analyses and recommendations on a flexible schedule. Prior AI experience is not required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in writing, editing, or evaluating text-based documents.
• Native-level English with strong attention to detail.
• Understanding of AI-generated text detection and quality assessment.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Assess content for clarity, coherence, accuracy, and alignment with project standards.
• Provide detailed evaluations and constructive feedback to improve quality.
• Identify and annotate AI-generated content, including low-quality text.
• Edit for grammar, syntax, structure, tone, and overall English quality.
• Collaborate remotely with coordinators and specialists to share insights.
• Prepare analyses and recommendations to improve AI training datasets.
• Meet deadlines and deliver consistent work across projects.
