Job summary

Alignerr is seeking Software Engineers to shape AI-generated code. In this fully remote hourly contract, you’ll write, review, and refine code across languages, and provide expert feedback to improve AI coding assistants. Work asynchronously on your own schedule and contribute to frontier AI development.

You’ll evaluate AI outputs for correctness, efficiency, readability, and security, design prompts, and rank solutions. If you enjoy clean code and clear reasoning, we want you.

Qualifications

• Proficient in one or more programming languages listed above.
• Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms.
• Ability to read, write and reason about code clearly and precisely.
• Demonstrated debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written communication to explain technical decisions.
• Self-motivated and reliable when working independently.
• Equivalent practical experience acceptable in lieu of degree.

Responsibilities

• W rite, debug, and optimize code across multiple languages and domains.
• Review and evaluate AI-generated code for correctness and style.
• Identify bugs, security issues, and performance bottlenecks in AI outputs.
• Provide structured feedback explaining why code works or fails.
• Design challenging prompts and edge cases to stress AI capabilities.
• Compare and rank AI solutions based on engineering quality.
• Work independently and asynchronously with self-directed schedule.
