Alignerr is seeking Software Engineers for a fully remote, flexible contract role in Houston to build, evaluate, and improve AI-generated code. You will train AI systems to think like developers, review AI outputs, and provide expert feedback to improve safety and reliability.

This hands-on engineering role involves writing code, reviewing AI outputs, and working asynchronously on a flexible schedule (10–40 hours/week). Strong problem-solving and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Experience reading/writing clear, maintainable code across languages and platforms.
• Strong fundamentals in data structures and algorithms.

Responsabilités

• Write, debug, and optimize code across a range of languages and domains.
• Review and evaluate AI-generated code for correctness and efficiency.
• Identify bugs, security issues, and performance bottlenecks in AI outputs.
• Provide structured feedback explaining why code works or doesn’t.
• Design coding prompts and edge cases to stress-test AI capabilities.
• Compare and rank AI-generated solutions based on engineering quality.
• Work independently and asynchronously with your own schedule.
