Optum is seeking a senior technology strategist to define and evangelize enterprise AI and GenAI vision, aligning business strategy with a scalable technology roadmap. You will partner with executives to identify high-value AI opportunities and build the business case, including ROI and risk trade-offs.

You will bridge business leadership and technical teams, guide architecture patterns, and ensure Responsible AI governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering/Business or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in technology strategy or enterprise architecture.
• 3+ years focused on AI/GenAI transformation.
• Experience translating business strategy into technology roadmaps and influencing executives.
• Experience embedding Responsible AI and governance practices.
• Knowledge of modern AI architecture concepts (LLMs, RAG, prompt orchestration).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure preferred) and APIs/microservices.
