Job summary

Zones is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager – AI Solutions to drive awareness of Zones’ AI capabilities and to grow the AI services pipeline. You will align with partners and Zones sales leaders to create opportunities, manage relationships, and execute go-to-market strategies.

A strong background in IT sales and collaboration across teams is essential, with travel as needed to cover the territory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Technology preferred.
• 2+ years in business development and/or solution sales in the Information Technology space.
• Excellent pipeline development and management skills with success in go-to-market strategies and results.
• Strong cross-group collaboration to drive alignment within partner and Zones teams.
• Excellent communication skills with experience presenting to senior executives and diverse audiences.
• Understanding of enterprise sales and solutions selling.
• Willing to travel and attend meetings/client visits within the territory and other locations as assigned.
• Ability to manage, maintain, and grow current pipeline.
• Analyze AI industry trends to drive revenue in services and technologies.
• Develop customer meetings to discover and grow opportunities.
• Lead customer calls and presentations for strategic opportunities and trainings.
• Collaborate with operations to ensure smooth deployments.
• Proactively suggest new ways to reach customers and drive sales/marketing.
• Attend relevant industry conferences.
• Provide expertise on RFQs, RFIs, RFPs and bids.

Responsibilities

• Drive alignment between AI Solutions Practice, partners, and Zones sales teams.
• Communicate and network effectively with identified AI solutions partners.
• Articulate Zones’ value proposition to partners.
• Nurture relationships with partner organizations and manage pipeline reviews.
• Develop and grow the AI services pipeline with qualified opportunities.
• Align go-to-market strategies with partners’ plays and Zones offerings.
• Focus on achieving sales and profit goals.
