Job summary

Lead Surge LLC is seeking an AI Solutions Architect to drive end-to-end AI initiatives. You will select tools, architect integration with CRMs and ad platforms, and build guardrails for safe production.

This player-coach role requires hands-on delivery, internal training, and collaboration with IT and security to ensure SOC 2 compliant data handling. Remote opportunities in the United States position you to lead strategic AI deployments across departments, balancing speed and long-term ownership

Qualifications

• Portfolio of AI solutions built and deployed.
• Hands-on experience with agentic AI frameworks and tools (Claude/Claude Code, Gemini, Monday.com AI).
• Experience integrating AI tools across CRMs, ad platforms, analytics systems.
• Strong understanding of AI in performance marketing, media, analytics or lead generation.
• Proven ability to communicate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience training staff on new tools and technologies.
• Knowledge of SOC 2 data security requirements.
• Experience configuring SSO and RBAC in AI tools (Okta preferred).
• Direct experience deploying Claude or comparable LLM-based apps.
• Outcome-oriented mindset: solutions must be used and deliver results.
• AEO/SEO experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead Build/Buy/Partner evaluations for AI ecosystem components.
• Define AI tooling architecture, hosting and integrations with existing systems.
• Build guardrails to prevent token overuse before production.
• Own the technical AI roadmap and communicate trade-offs to leadership.
• Assess evolving AI landscape and provide timely recommendations on tool adoption or retirement.
• Implement agentic AI solutions across key workflows.
• Build multi-step AI workflows connecting across tools and departments.
• Ensure reliability, auditability, and proper guardrails and failure handling.
• Own AI solutions end-to-end: design, build, deploy, monitor, improve.
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors for clean integrations.
• Document system architecture, configurations, and dependencies.
• Monitor performance and iterate based on usage.
