Job summary

Eliza is seeking a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer, Cyber to design and deploy AI-enabled security solutions for customers. This remote role offers significant autonomy, direct client contact, and hands-on engineering leadership across discovery, architecture, deployment, and handover.

Qualifications

• Hands-on cybersecurity experience with documented decisions and outcomes.
• Production code, integrations, debugging, and maintainable system design.
• Practical AI fluency, including model evaluation and human review.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery with customer security and engineering teams to define problem, baseline, architecture, and acceptance criteria.
• Build and integrate AI-enabled security workflows connecting models, telemetry, and security systems.
• Deploy and operate in customer environments with configuration, CI/CD, monitoring, and handover.
• Threat-model AI-enabled workflows and test failure cases before production readiness; ensure controls exist for prompts, data flows, and access.
• Explain architecture, risks, and tradeoffs clearly to technical and nontechnical stakeholders; offer practical alternatives.
• Produce documentation and handover assets so customer teams can operate and extend the work.
