Job summary

Outlier is seeking detail-oriented English speakers to review AI-generated media. You will hold live conversations with AI voice models, compare image and video pairs, and explain what’s off, all remotely and on your own schedule.

At Outlier, your work helps shape how advanced AI systems reason, learn, and improve. This is a freelance, 1099 contract with flexible hours and weekly payments, including access to popular LLMs. Earn up to $15 USD/hr plus incentives.

Qualifications

• Fluent English speaker with strong, clear written communication.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to replay or zoom in when something is off.
• Experience writing short, evidence-based explanations or reviews.
• Ability to think on your feet and discuss realistic scenarios naturally.
• Able to make clear decisions when options have flaws.

Responsibilities

• Holding a live, scenario-based conversation in English with AI voice models, then ranking how natural and clear each one sounded.
• Comparing pairs of AI-generated images and videos and judging which follows the prompt better.
• Inspecting outputs closely, including zooming and replaying, to spot problems like distortions or mismatches.
• Rating each output across dimensions like adherence, quality, and realism and writing a concise explanation in English.
