Job summary

Outlier is seeking detail-oriented English speakers to review AI-generated media from the comfort of your home. You will roleplay live conversations with AI voice models, compare image and video outputs, and explain what looks off in writing, all remotely and on your own schedule.

As part of Outlier's evaluation loop, your work helps shape how advanced AI systems reason and learn, turning frontier research into real-world performance improvements.

Qualifications

• Fluent English speaker with clear written communication.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to replay or zoom in when something seems off.
• Pursuing or holding a Bachelor's degree or above.
• Comfortable thinking on your feet and talking through realistic situations.
• Experience writing short, evidence-based explanations or reviews.
• Able to make clear decisions when both options have flaws.

Responsibilities

• Holding live, scenario-based conversations in English with AI voice models and rating how natural and clear each exchange sounds.
• Comparing AI-generated images and videos and judging which better follows prompts.
• Inspecting outputs closely to spot problems like distorted anatomy, flickering, or text and audio mismatches.
• Rating outputs across dimensions and writing concise explanations in English specifying observed issues.
