Job summary

Outlier is seeking detail-oriented English speakers to review AI-generated media from live conversations with AI voice models. You will compare image and video pairs, judge adherence to prompts, and explain in writing what looked or sounded wrong, all remotely and on your own schedule.

As part of Outlier’s evaluation process, you’ll help shape how advanced AI systems reason and learn, contributing to higher-quality AI outputs used in real-world contexts.

Qualifications

• Fluent English with strong written communication and comfortable with everyday conversational speech.
• High attention to detail and the patience to replay or zoom in when something seems off.
• Nice to have: pursuing or holding a Bachelor’s degree or above.
• Comfortable thinking on your feet and explaining reasoning clearly.

Responsibilities

• Hold live conversations in English with AI voice models and rank how natural and clear each interaction sounds.
• Compare AI-generated images and videos to judge which follows prompts better and explain why in writing.
• Inspect outputs closely to spot problems like distorted visuals or mismatched audio, then report findings.
• Provide written explanations in English that point to observed issues and improvements.
