Job summary

Outlier is seeking detail-oriented English speakers to review AI-generated media at your own schedule. You’ll hold live conversations with AI voice models, compare image and video pairs, and explain what looked or sounded off in writing.

Work remotely with flexible hours, and earn up to $15 USD per hour plus incentives. You’ll help improve AI systems by identifying issues like distorted motion, misaligned audio, and text errors, then rate outputs across realism and adherence.

Qualifications

Fluent English; strong written communication.
Excellent attention to detail; patient to replay or zoom in.
Pursuing or holding a Bachelor's degree or above.
Able to think on your feet and discuss realistic scenarios.
Experience writing short, evidence-based explanations or reviews.
Able to make clear decisions when both options have flaws.

Responsibilities

Holding a live, scenario-based conversation in English with AI voice models, then ranking how natural, useful, and clear each one sounded.
Comparing pairs of AI-generated images and videos and judging which one better follows the prompt.
Inspecting outputs closely, including zooming in and replaying, to spot problems like distorted anatomy, flickering or unnatural motion, text errors, and audio that doesn't match the video.
Rating each output across dimensions like adherence, quality, and realism, then writing a specific explanation in English that points to what you saw or heard.
