Job summary

Outlier is seeking detail-oriented English speakers to review AI-generated media. You’ll hold live conversations with AI voice models, compare images and videos, and explain what looked or sounded off, all from home on your own schedule.

Work remotely with flexible hours and be paid weekly; rates vary by expertise and project requirements, up to $15 per hour with additional incentives. You’ll help improve AI systems through careful evaluation.

Qualifications

• Fluent English speaker with strong, clear written communication and comfortable with natural everyday conversational speech.
• Strong attention to detail and patience to replay or zoom in when something seems off.
• Nice to have: pursuing or holding a Bachelor's degree or above.
• Comfortable thinking on your feet and discussing realistic scenarios clearly.
• Experience writing short, evidence-based explanations or reviews.
• Capable of making clear decisions when both options have flaws.

Responsibilities

• Holding a live, scenario-based conversation in English with AI voice models and rating how natural and clear they sound.
• Comparing pairs of AI-generated images and videos and judging which follows the prompt better.
• Inspecting outputs closely and spotting problems like distorted anatomy, flickering, or mismatch between audio and video.
• Rating outputs across dimensions like adherence, quality, and realism, then writing a concise explanation in English.
