Qualifications

• A doctorate in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a closely related field is required, with at least 18 graduate credit hours in AI/ML/DS or related field.
• Applicants must upload unofficial graduate transcripts with their application.
• Degrees must be from an accredited institution or equivalent.
• Three to five years of applied professional experience in AI/ML/DS or related technologies.
• Certifications relevant to AI/ML/DS or software development are encouraged.
• Strong subject matter expertise in AI concepts with ability to explain complex topics to diverse learners.
• Knowledge of ethical, responsible, and secure AI practices.

Responsibilities

• Develops and provides students with an approved DeVry University syllabus following campus templates.
• Organizes, prepares, and revises course materials regularly.
• Uses online technologies and course software to prepare and deliver content.
• Models clear oral and written communication to enhance learning.
• Publishes terminal objectives and schedules for course assessments.
• Ensures exams align with course objectives and provides timely feedback.
• Incorporates responsible AI usage and addresses student AI tool use appropriately.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
