Job summary

Inova Health System is seeking an AI Product Manager to own the systemwide AI portfolio, define roadmaps, and drive value in safety, quality, and clinician experience. This fully remote, full-time role welcomes Florida-resident candidates and others listed for remote work.

The position requires 7+ years in product management with 3+ years leading AI/GenAI projects in regulated environments and Epic certification. Inova offers comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Healthcare management, mathematics, economics, data science, engineering, or other quantitative data and analytics field (or 4 years relevant professional experience in lieu of degree)
7+ years in product management with 3+ years leading AI/ML products in regulated or safety-critical environments
Epic certification (Resolute HB/Resolute PB, Prelude, Cadence)

Responsibilities

Owns the systemwide AI product portfolio and investment cases; sets multi-year roadmap and success metrics tied to quality, access, safety, clinician experience, and affordability.
Drives innovation to improve system performance, workflows, and patient outcomes.
Ensures AI initiatives comply with IT architecture, priorities, and regulatory standards.
Leads cross-functional teams through the full AI product lifecycle using agile methodologies.
Oversees vendor selection, solution design, data pipeline development, and implementation.
Integrates AI tools into clinical and operational systems (e.g., Epic, ERP, CRM).
Acts as a liaison between IT, clinical, analytics, and operational stakeholders.
Translates technical requirements into business cases and communicates value to executives.
Promotes user adoption through training, documentation, and change management support.
Ensures HIPAA, cybersecurity, and model governance policies.
Defines and monitors post-deployment surveillance; triggers retraining, data remediation, or rollback; publishes product KPIs and cost to serve.
Manages model retraining, decommissioning, and lifecycle; owns TCO and budgets; leads build/buy/partner analyses; negotiates vendor MSAs/BAAs with SLAs.
Leads continuous improvement for AI tools and processes.
