Lever, Inc. is seeking an AI Process Forward Deployed Engineer based in Spain. You will own the end-to-end deployment of AI-powered process automation in enterprise environments, from initial workflow setup to measurable improvements and handoff to customer teams.

The role combines hands-on software engineering, distributed systems, with customer-facing technical leadership across Java services and React interfaces. Global, remote, autonomous work is typical.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering and operating software in enterprise production environments.
• Strong software engineering capabilities across distributed systems and integrations.
• Experience with Java-based services and React interfaces.
• Practical production experience with AI technologies and agents.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end deployment journey from initial workflow to production.
• Establish successful customer outcomes within the deployment period.
• Build and customize product capabilities, including AI agents and integrations.
• Configure platform environments and troubleshoot complex failures.
• Develop custom agents when standard capabilities fall short.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to drive adoption and handoffs.
• Document deployment patterns and create repeatable playbooks.
• Train customer teams to operate and improve the solution.
