Job summary

EPAM Systems is seeking an AI leader to drive innovation and delivery across our Insurance portfolio. You will oversee the full lifecycle of AI solutions from ideation to production, shaping strategy, leading multidisciplinary teams, and building new capabilities in a fast-evolving market.

You will collaborate with clients and internal teams to define AI visions, manage end-to-end data science programs, and mentor colleagues while expanding our offerings in data science and ML across insurance

Qualifications

• 10+ years as data science lead or ML engineering lead in insurance or reinsurance.
• 5+ years in a leadership role with team management responsibilities.
• Strong communication skills for diverse audiences.
• Hands-on experience in computer vision, NLP, recommender systems, or time-series analytics.
• ML engineering and production delivery, including MLOps and cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of Databricks, Snowflake, or agentic orchestration tools like LangChain/Semantic Kernel
• Proficiency in Python and modern AI software development lifecycle
• Consulting experience in a professional services environment

Responsibilities

• Shape AI, ML, and agentic vision and go-to-market offerings with clients and teams.
• Manage end-to-end data science and AI projects and programs.
• Lead multidisciplinary workshops and design sessions with customers.
• Develop high-quality proposals with SMEs and consultants.
• Contribute to evolution of data science and AI offerings.
• Grow team capacity, mentor members, and drive transformation with stakeholders.
