EPAM Systems seeks an AI leader to drive innovation and delivery across Financial Services and Insurance. You will oversee the full lifecycle of AI solutions, from ideation to production, shaping strategy, leading multidisciplinary teams, and building new capabilities in a fast-evolving market.

In this remote leadership role, you will collaborate with clients and internal teams to define vision, manage end-to-end projects, and grow team capacity.

Qualifications

• 10+ years leading data science or ML teams in financial services, insurance, or consulting.
• 5+ years in a leadership role with people management responsibilities.
• Strong ability to explain complex AI concepts to diverse audiences.
• Hands-on domain experience in computer vision, NLP, recommender systems or time series analytics.
• MLEngineering and production delivery experience, including MLOps on cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with Databricks, Snowflake, or agentic orchestration tools.
• Proficiency in Python and modern software development lifecycles for AI products.
• Consulting background in professional services is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end data science and AI projects from ideation to production.
