Job summary

Block, Inc. is building a more inclusive economy by empowering people through technology. We are seeking a senior People Technology professional to lead automation and platform initiatives across Talent Acquisition and the broader People portfolio.

You will partner with Talent Acquisition to design scalable, secure AI-enabled solutions, build shared data services, and govern integrations that power the employee lifecycle from recruiting to off boarding.

Qualifications

• Experience managing enterprise People platforms such as Workday or Greenhouse, including hands-on work designing or implementing integrations between them using APIs, middleware, ETL tools, or integration platforms.
• Experience with AI-enabled solutions to automate work for People Technology challenges and ability to discuss learnings.
• Led technology initiatives end-to-end from discovery to adoption, simplifying complex processes.
• Translate technical concepts for business stakeholders and influence decisions across People, Security, Data, and Engineering.
• Understanding of compliance and security standards relevant to People data (SOX, GDPR).

Responsibilities

• Partner with Talent Acquisition to identify tech opportunities and improve work through technology and AI.
• Advise teams as they design scalable, secure, AI-enabled solutions.
• Balance near-term delivery with longer-term platform investments.
• Build shared integrations, data services, and platform automations across People.
• Evaluate People Technology vendors and integration decisions.
• Evolve People Technology toward shared platform capabilities and architectural patterns.
• Use AI and modern tools to prototype, automate, and deliver tech solutions.
• Ensure trusted data and governance across the organization.
• Identify opportunities to improve productivity and employee experiences.
