United States Digital Space LLC is seeking an Architect Data Engineer to define the architecture for a next-generation data layer designed for Agentic AI. You will orchestrate hybrid-database environments (Snowflake/Kinetica) and serve as the primary engineering liaison to customers, shaping governance and performance standards.

The role demands 10+ years of experience, with a focus on system architecture, knowledge graphs, and hybrid data stacks.

Qualifications

• System Architecture: design end-to-end data layer for AI agents.
• Schema & Ontology Design: multi-tenant schemas and knowledge graphs for cross-domain retrieval.
• Database Administration & Governance: health, security, and performance of Snowflake/Kinetica clusters.
• Strategic Client Fronting: act as face of engineering, lead workshops, align roadmap.
• Performance Engineering: establish latency and retrieval benchmarks for real-time workloads.
• The Hybrid Stack: architecting for Snowflake Data Cloud and Kinetica real-time platforms.
• Knowledge Graph Mastery: design property graphs or RDF schemas mapping entities.
• Advanced ETL/ELT Strategy: data orchestration including CDC, streaming, batch.
• Database Internals: partitioning, indexing, vacuuming, cloud-native scaling.

Responsibilities

• System Architecture: design end-to-end blueprint for a modern data layer.
• Schema & Ontology: define multi-tenant schemas and Knowledge Graph ontologies.
• Database Administration: oversee health, security, performance of data clusters.
• Strategic Client Fronting: lead discovery workshops and align architectural roadmap.
