Job summary

Nymbus is seeking an AI Product Architect to serve as the system design and technical integrity owner within a high-autonomy squad triad. You will define foundational components, enforce architectural standards, and produce production-ready code across event processing, data access, and platform services.

In this hands-on leadership role, you will collaborate with Builders and Shippers, apply AI-first approaches, and ensure enterprise-grade security, performance, and scalability are baked into

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering with enterprise-grade scope.
• Hands-on engineering; regularly commit production code.
• Translate architecture into working software and foundations.
• Define and apply API, data, and deployment patterns.
• Experience with REST, event-driven systems, and data modeling.

Responsibilities

• Define system and reference architectures for squads.
• Own integration patterns, data models, and tenancy boundaries.
• Commit production code for foundational components and shared services.
• Review specs for scalability and cross-squad consistency; define migrations.
• Use AI tools to explore architecture and accelerate design reviews.
• Define deployment patterns and observability standards.
• Drive performance, capacity, security, and operability testing.
• Collaborate with Builders, Shippers, and Security across squads.
