Job summary

Nymbus is building the next generation of fintech platforms and seeks an AI Product Architect who will own system design, technical integrity, and production hardening. You will work across squads with Builders and Shippers to deliver secure, scalable architecture using AI-first methods.

You will regularly commit production code in core areas such as event processing, data access, and shared services, ensuring cross-squad consistency and operational readiness.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience and architecture ownership for enterprise-grade software.
• Hands-on ability to regularly commit production code in areas like event processing, data access, integrations, observability and platform services.
• Experience applying architecture patterns across APIs, data, testing, security, deployment and operations.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, event-driven systems, data modeling, and resilience.

Responsibilities

• Define system and reference architectures aligning squad solutions with the Nymbus platform.
• Own integration patterns, API contracts, data models, data flows, tenancy boundaries, and interoperability decisions.
• Design and commit production code for foundational components and shared services (event processing, data access, integration frameworks, observability).
• Review specifications for scalability, maintainability, backward compatibility, and cross-squad consistency; define migration patterns.
• Use AI-powered tools to explore architecture alternatives, draft artifacts, implement code, and accelerate reviews.
