Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience (or 4+ with a Master's) in CS/engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• Deep, current taste in LLM research.
• Understanding of inference internals: attention, KV-cache, batching, quantization, and related trade-offs.
• Experience building and operating LLM-based agent systems in production.
• Strong backend and distributed systems background.
• Strong programming skills in Python.
• Experience with ML training or research infrastructure: experiment orchestration, evaluation pipelines, hyperparameter search.
• Experience running inference serving at meaningful scale.
• Familiarity with agent architecture patterns and tool integration.

Responsibilities

• Build the closed-loop measurement layer for agent workflows to determine acceptance, revert, or override outcomes.
• Take autoresearch from assisted to unattended for bounded experiments with proper evaluation and governance.
• Design isolation and permissioning models for production repos and infrastructure with auditable records.
