Job summary

First American is seeking an Engineering Manager who thrives on building high-performing, cloud-native engineering teams and delivering AI-powered software for the real estate industry.

You will partner with Product, Design, Architecture, Security, and business stakeholders to translate strategy into outcomes, while shaping a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous learning across distributed teams.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience building production software systems and leading engineering teams.
• Experience delivering cloud-native, distributed software systems in production.
• Proven ability to establish engineering processes that improve delivery, quality and operational excellence.
• Strong understanding of modern software architecture, cloud infra, APIs and observability.
• Experience coaching engineers through performance, career growth, and mentorship.
• Proven ability to partner with product management, design, architecture and stakeholders.
• Experience adopting AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery while maintaining quality.
