Job summary

CSAA Insurance Group is hiring a Model Risk Advisor - Remote to promote governance of AI models, maintain risk inventories, and partner across teams to strengthen compliance with AI policies and standards.

You will engage with the AI community, monitor KRIs, and support validation and audits while coordinating with risk, auditors, and external suppliers to uphold governance documentation.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in Model risk management and related practices.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information management, data science or related field.
• Experience in AI Model governance, Model Risk Management, or Audit.
• Knowledge of compliance monitoring and/or auditing principles.
• Knowledge of privacy, security, and AI Model governance standards.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to translate complex topics.

Responsibilities

• Engage with the enterprise AI community to promote awareness, understanding, and adoption of AI governance policies, standards, and responsible AI practices.
• Establish and maintain an inventory of statistical, machine learning, AI, and GenAI models with ownership, risk ratings, and metadata.
• Assess model risk based on complexity, regulatory requirements, business impact, and usage; identify emerging risks.
• Implement and maintain Model Risk Management frameworks, processes, controls, policies, standards, and procedures.
• Monitor model performance, governance controls, KRIs, and policy compliance; flag issues.
