Job summary

EY is seeking a Manager in AI Native Engineering to deliver innovative AI/ML solutions for Power & Utilities. You will work with diverse clients and teams to design scalable data science platforms, enrich data, and derive actionable insights across cloud and on‑prem environments.

You will lead complex projects, mentor technical teams, and ensure governance, security, and regulatory alignment while advancing EY’s data capabilities and client value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required (4-year degree).
• 6–10 years of full-time experience in AI, Data Science, and/or Machine Learning.
• 2–4 years of experience directly managing technical teams.
• Strong skills in Python and cloud-based production AI/ML solutions.
• Proficient in Generative AI models and frameworks (e.g., OpenAI, DALL‑E, Langchain, RAG).
• Experience designing, building, and maintaining high-impact production AI/ML solutions on a major cloud platform.
• Proficient in ML packages like scikit-learn and PyTorch; experience with NLP and deep learning.
• Experience with DevOps tools (GIT, Azure DevOps), Jira, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with MLOps, data ingestion, transformation, evaluation, and monitoring.
• Excellent communication and travel willingness for client engagements.

Responsibilities

• Lead workstreams and manage project processes and delivery.
• Identify innovative solutions through research and analysis to improve processes.
• Manage professional staff and supervise teams on complex technical initiatives.
• Engage with clients and lead workstreams from planning through closure.
• Identify opportunities for additional services and manage engagement economics.
• Design and deliver AI/ML use cases for Power & Utilities, including asset health and forecasting.
• Work with utility data sources (SCADA, AMI, GIS, Maximo, OMS, CIS) and integrate into analytics platforms.
• Support moving AI solutions from pilots to production while meeting regulatory and governance requirements.
